1. We have the UNITE event in fall and I honestly think it goes a long way towards reminding us that women in other chapters are just like our own sisters, but I think this website proves we need more. It would be great if we could have a second UNITE event in spring or even just a casual all-Panhellenic mixer that’s organized by PHA 2. I love you all and I admire the work you do but please stop relying on Instagram to get PNMs to sign up. Y’all are the ones out here like “only 13% of women in high school say they’d want to join a sorority” but posting flyers on social media only appeals to that 13% that seeks out chapters/PHA to creep on. You have a whole exec board, 20-40 rho gammas, and a marketing team you have the woman power to hit the streets. PHA should be tabling and chalking throughout the year. If we don’t market we will continue to shrink. 3. Bring back SOFE (standards of fraternal excellence). It’s not a coincidence that we started to shrink when we got rid of these. 4. I think we should consider moving formal recruitment to the spring semester. This gives all of fall for PNMs to sign up, allows traditional freshmen a semester to get acclimated and focus on school, and could improve PNM numbers. 5. save your budget and just move recruitment to Greek village. Campus total is 106, only like 600 PNMs go through each year: we fit in the houses. Not all the houses have chapter rooms, no, but at other schools some chapters have mansions and others don’t, I think a difference of 200 square feet is reasonable.
