Subject:
high school popularity syndrome?

Poster Message:
So this post is going to be really intimate and personal but only because it’s an anonymous site. I’m not expecting that many of mature or kind comments, but who knows? I used to be the most popular girl in my high school. I won homecoming court every year (for my grade) and was homecoming queen and prom queen both. Obviously these don’t matter now because it was because I was well liked, guys drooled over me, and girls got along with me well because I am a nice person. Teachers liked me too because I was smart academically. I had it all, from friends to grades to looks to attention to fame. But now at USF, I am in a good sorority that’s considered top by people, and it bothers me because I’m not “that girl” anymore. The older sisters get way more attention and it’s like I’m just a follower now more than someone that people would follow. This makes me feel lowkly. Someone please suggest or advise what I should do to stop feeling this way.
