It depends, some houses have a spring rush but others don't. I would say wait till the fall to rush, houses are more than open to having sophomores and juniors joining!! If you really have your heart set on rushing spring I would recommend checking out houses instagrams/tumblrs/twitters/blogs/etc to see which ones your digging and if the ones you really like don't have a spring rush then do fall!!
