Head Scratchers and Downward Trenders- SAE, PIKA, Zete, Phi Society, Phi Delt, Pi Kap, Sigma Pi, ATO, TDX, Pi Lamb These houses were either some of the best in the past that have fallen off recently, ones that I have heard very little about but know are definitely not trending upwards from what I do hear, or have lost ground. SAE and PIKA used to be two of the better regarded fraternities at UVA, but both have been shaky since they got into trouble in recent years. As an Alpha Chapter at UVA, PIKA should honestly be much better, but has not excelled as much as expected since they got removed from suspension a couple years back. SAE is incessantly mocked for their reputation as a strictly southern fraternity, and while they do host some good tailgates, their last PC was nothing spectacular. Zete’s five person pledge class speaks for itself, so I don’t think I need to go into too much more depth on them. Phi Delt was once the academic and leadership giant of Greek life here, but they've fallen behind in the past year. Pi Kap and Sigma Pi were at one point looking like they were getting better, but they’ve really hurt themselves after a bad year of rush. TDX and Pi Lamb have been struggling to get small PCs. Phi Society and ATO I’ll admit I have heard almost nothing about recently. Phi Society got in a little bit of trouble last spring and I don’t know if they’re out of the doghouse yet, but if they are then I’d put them as on-par with Delta Sig and Beta but slipping from both.
