Thanks for the response, blind fiji egg guy. In finding refutations of this social theory I’ve sought to analyze the temporality of the social order determined by rush. Being in Elmo, is being “on top” a short term or long term phenomena? In answering this question we seek the average income of Elmo alumni (adjusted for inflation and financial accommodations purchased by parents) vs. that of the mean student. Assumptions: - everyone studied a finance or economics - job interests: finance or consulting Other specifications of on top: The projected beauty of my future wife versus the mean (discounted for aging over time). And vaguely, perhaps a comparison of power? Hypothesis: success in rush has long term implications that will carve the path for the rest of your life. Carry on.
