Subject:
Frat Rankings Guide for first years

Poster Message:
First off, find somewhere you like, rankings are far from everything. But if you are interested, here is a rundown: Top in no particular order: Elmo, DKE, Hall, Zete The Big 4 are somewhat interchangeable, and just have different vibes (ex. DKE northern, Zete southern). All 4 are rich, preppy, only mix with top sororities, and have probably the best parties, but tend to be exclusive. Upper Mid: Phi Psi SAE Kappa Sig Chi Phi/Sig Chi Phi Psi/SAE is definitely not the top, but they are pretty far from Kappa Sig, so Phi Psi/SAE are kinda in their own category. These frats mix with top and upper mid sororities, great house locations (besides Sig Chi), and fun parties. Mid: Beta/SNU Sammy Pika Theta Chi These frats are going to be less exclusive, but still have some pretty fun parties and are a good time. You'll find a lot of nice, decent guys in the mid tier, and there aren't as many private school kids. These frats mix with a wide range of sororities. Beta and SNU guys love to self rank themselves, so put them in the same category to avoid fighting in the comments. Lower Mid: Phi Society/DU Phi Delt/D Sig/Chi Psi Pi Kapp These frats aren't as concerned with rank or prestige, but are a lot about a good brotherhood and having a good time. These frats mix with some mid and mostly lower sororities. Not particularly exclusive and most people can join if they want. Lower: A Sig/SERP/AEPi Sig Pi/Pi Lam SPE/TDX/TKE/ATO/Phi Sig Serp has a bad rep with treating women well, so its kinda a shame that they have one of the best houses. These frats are not going to be throwing huge parties, just kinda brotherhood clubs and might not mix with many sororities, but can be great places to join.
