I’ll be real with you, I didn’t know this was against the rules when I rushed, so I didn’t report this incident (but it happened a while ago). I thought that was the general rule when I was rushing so I avoided talking about partying, but then a girl in axo kept asking me those questions and it tripped me up. Then the girl who I had for philan and prefs and vibed with so well was like “I’m not supposed to tell you this but Imma keep it real because I really like you and want you to be my little, and I don’t want you to think I’m so fake if you don’t get a bid tomorrow. But I tried to fight for you last night, but right now you have a lower score because in our pref meeting she scored you lower for not being interested in partying, and depending on the other scores you might now make our list. Which is dumb but each rusher only has so much power and it’s out of my hands.” So that was sad because I had such great convos with everyone else in that sorority, but that indicated it might not be the right place anyway. I went elsewhere and felt like I fit in more, so all turned out okay. So not saying you should go out of your way to talk about it, but it does sometimes make a difference if you really want a certain sorority. Especially if the sorority has a rep for partying more, that might hurt your chances if you avoid it, even though on the books it’s frowned upon. But also that might reveal you don’t vibe and would fit in way better at another house, which I think is the better option. But up to you
