You will MAYBE go to frats your first year, and then maybe some frats you like second year. By 3rd and 4th year no one goes to frat parties, so if you are in a sorority but don’t have a “crew” then you will be paying to be lonely and miserable. 50% of the experience becomes more about the friendships you make rather than the frats you join. Also post grad it’s those friends you will want to have and keep long term, rather than Matt at douche frat abc that you hooked up with at some party.
