My roommate is in pi phi so here is my take: I think they’re that high partly for historical reasons and the fact they are in Thursday’s. They also recruit mostly for personality/accomplishments, so the girls are usually really nice, fun, and involved. They don’t really hang out with a specific frat per se, but a lot of of the girls have close friendships with guys in top frats and lower frats, hence the “sweet hearts” of rugby road rep. THAT said, I feel like other sororities have girls with the same characteristics, so it’s a bit outdated to say Pi Phi is inherently better or top. I think they’re just different which is why people like them?
