Empathy you say. Right now the bottom tier sororities have NO chance to improve under the current scheme. What could be more appropriately empathetic than to allow the weak to cast off the highly restrictive bonds of Panhellenic recruitment rules and engage in competitive recruitment in order to improve their standing and experience? Just asking’.
