Regrouping

I have had a soul searching kind of week following rush/bid day. I had what I thought were some great conversations and connections during round robins and was really optimistic going into philanthropy despite being dropped by my top 6 choices in the first cuts. A few people seemed genuinely interested in recruiting me. For house tours, I had 2 options where I felt compatible and 2 where I had doubts. Then prefs and down to the 2 where I think I knew, and the sororitys knew I was not a great fit. I dropped before bid day because I didn’t want to make such a commitment. I am hoping I find a sorority during informal recruiting. My entire friend group made great matches during on bid day. The upside is that I have friends at a lot of different houses. The downside is that I still need to regroup and trust the process again.
