@almost is correct. Pnm's do not drop houses, they only rank them. When a sorority releases a pnm, that house drops off the pnm's schedule. If it leaves an open spot in her schedule, the algorithm will then fill that spot by moving up another house that the pnm ranked lower. This is to ensure that a pnm's schedule is as full as possible for that round. So to actually 'drop' a house, a pnm would have to be a no-show at a party. That's a good way to get kicked out of rush.
