I hope that there aren’t too many people in this position. I’m a fourth year now and I rushed my second year and it didn’t go well. I was dropped from every house except the three lowest here after round robins. I never felt like I was too good for these houses, but I was crushed when I felt so undesirable and unwanted by every other sorority. I tried to stick it out but dropped right before prefs. At the time I was very sad about it, but I promise it isn’t the end of the world! I now have a great group of friends that I’ve met through other clubs. I know it probably hurts now if you’re in a similar position. It really does get better. It took me a long time to believe this, but being in a sorority is not going to make or break your college experience.
