If you have houses at pref that you are not in love with, or if you get a bid from your far second choice, give it a try - accept the invite, accept the bid. You would be amazed how real life experience in a sorority is different from how rush makes you feel. You can always drop before initiation and rush again next year if your feelings don't change, OR you may find the best thing that ever happened to you. You won't know unless you try; stay the course.
