The real problem is girls dropping out of the process themselves because they aren’t willing to give their remaining sororities a chance. You meet maybe 10 girls in each one during rush and they are almost never 100% representative of the whole chapter. Sororities have 120+ girls and if you can’t get along with anyone out of that many, then maybe you’re the problem. SEC schools are significantly lower because of how big Greek life is there and the idea that you HAVE to be in one to have a social life - which is not true at UVA at all so that’s not even a fair comparison. Not true for everyone, but people need to stop blaming UVA’s system on their inability to give chances to chapters that gave them one.
