Snap Bids do not happen after Bid Day, they happen before. Snap Bids are given when a sorority does not match to Quota after prefs and still has some bids available. Quota is not decided until after prefs and everyone has signed her card. Pnm's who attended at least the first round of formal recruitment but either dropped out of rush or were dropped by all houses are eligible for a Snap, but they are few and far between so don't count on one. If you were to be offered a Snap Bid it would happen after prefs and before bids go out. You would be contacted and if you accept then you would go to bid day and get your bid just like everyone else. Sororities keep snap bids on the DL and only a few people in the chapter know about them, so you would not stand out from the others in your new class. After bids go out, COB can start. Sororities can do Continuous Open Bidding if they still did not make Quota or if their membership is lower than the specified House Total for sororities.
