I'm not in one of the top tier ones, but I struggled to connect with anyone in my sorority during my first couple semesters in it for a lot of the same reasons as you. It took me until the end of my second year to really find a group of girls in my pledge class that I felt super close to, and it was worth the wait. I would advice that you keep it one more chance and keep putting yourself out there, but if your heart really isn't in it, it's not the end of the world if you decide to drop. Best of luck.
