NPC has a specific procedure for adding a new sorority to any campus. First ISC has to decide that there is room for a new sorority in the first place. This involves all the sororities deciding for it to happen. The major reason for adding a new sorority is when new member classes across the board are getting too big. That isn't the case here, as well as sororities consistently not making quota (big ol' red flag for expansion.) Anyway, if expansion were needed and voted to be a go, the next step is an invitation for interest extended to all NPC sororities that are not already at UVA. The ones who are interested will respond and send all kinds of info on themselves for ISC and existing sororities to review. Then, the three sororities deemed best fit would be asked to come and present. One of those would be chosen to colonize in the next year or two. That's how it happens. Disgruntled pnm's thinking that bringing on XYZ sorority will make them happy will not be given the time of day y'all.
