Some houses will take more due to quota additions, which ensure that every pnm who attends the pref round and ranks each house where she attends is guaranteed a bid." So basically the sororitys rank PNMs in the order of desirability and then that's compared to what each PNM has listed as the sororitys she is interested in. If there's not a match at that point, to that PNM's invites for prefs is added a house that she will never get in or else one she does not really want. No surprise that PNM's drop at that point.
