These are rush stats from two years ago. These numbers came directly from UVA: Recruitment began with 1,020 Potential New Member registrants. Prior to the start of the first round, 42 women left the process (either did not show up or withdrew before starting recruitment). The number of PNMs who thus began the process was 978. Ultimately, 356 women voluntarily withdrew, did not receive a bid, or were released at some point during the process. 622 women received bids, the vast majority of whom received their first choice.(???, not sure about that...) So.... at UVA, 36.4 percent were cut out of rush or left the process. Two years ago, the national average was 17% and the SEC schools were all under 10%. I think that this year's numbers will be very similar...
