The rankings are pretty subjective but in general people base them on looks, personality, involvement, historical status, exclusiveness, money (unfortunately), etc. Some sororities have a good balance between all of these categories, and some just excel in one. This can be tough because some top sororities could be extremely rich and historically been top but lack in all the other ways
