Honestly it depends on the type of person. If you got dropped from almost everywhere first or second round it'll probably happen again. There are some girls though that genuinely fell through the cracks after house tours or during bids. Those people tend to do extremely well. I honestly prefer talking to second years at rush they're less nervous and more interesting. Also I'm in a middle tier sorority and we always have taken a lot of second years, and we loved others couldn't because we got some really cool girls. Most sororities do not just write off second years, it depends on their nationals rules.
