make up the difference... aka another cost), meals (possibly), use of the house (I love studying in my house), and a group of lifelong friends! It may seem that I'm ragging on the cost of Greek life and while it is very expensive I truly believe it is worth it! In terms of convincing your parents I wouldn't use what you physically get from your dues, cause honestly it is not all that much, but rather the intangible things you get by joining a sorority, like friends that share common values, connections for after college, and so much more!
