I think once you graduate the sorority you choose becomes VERY relevant if you want a strong network of business contacts. My mother is a realtor and her sorority contacts are invaluable to her. Most of them are not from her school. It's one of the few equivalents we have of the "Old Boy's Network." Not a big deal if you plan on going into nursing or teaching. Almost anything else? Choose carefully. Otherwise I think they all serve a similar role in providing a great social/philanthropic experience while on Grounds.
