- i did formal recruitment this year as a freshman but didn't get a bid (to be honest it hurt my self esteem)... does this happen a lot? i was hoping sororities would do spring recruitment but it doesn't look like anyone besides IGU has spring rush - is it weird to rush again as a sophomore if I didn't get a bid? if it comes up in recruitment should i let them know i didn't get a bid the first time around? (or would that be a deterrent since no one wanted me the first time?) thanks! :)
