Listen, this is the HONEST truth. In years past, the sororities that ACTUALLY hazed were KKG, SDT, AEPhi, and IGU. While the others didn’t necessarily haze, there were still strict rules and a time commitment for new members. Within the past 2-3 years, UMass and national orgs have really been cracking down. Whether people know it or not, those sororities that were “hazing” all got caught in some way or another. Now, the hazing is down to nothing. So PNM, in short, PLEASE do not be worried about hazing. Go through recruitment with an open mind and choose a chapter you click with. Don’t listen to boys trying to make the sororities look bad or jealous girls holding on to things of the past.
