the person above said it in a rude way but yes, they typically are not as social as other sororities in terms of mixers. i've also heard their formals are awkward and sober. however many of them go out to the bars and open parties and such so its up to you. if you really interested in philanthropy and sorority aspects of that nature, this may be the sorority for you. if you're looking for a more social chapter, then no, chi o is not it
