I look at respecting legacies as giving them an extra chance to see if they're a good fit and releasing them early if they're not so they can find a better fit. I think you're equating respect as an automatic bid which no sorority in the world does. If you are complaining on this website because you didn't get a bid to a house just because your mom or grandmother did, you need to work on your own SELF respect.
