I'm not a Gamma Phi but I was a legacy to that house. The answer is that YES they respect legacies. Each legacy is more carefully considered than the non-legacies. They are invited back to an extra party and I remember going to legacy weekends at the house when I was younger. The legacies parents and grandparents are the ones donating to the foundation (like my mom does.) They ended up releasing me and I have absolutely no hard feelings because I love my house. My mom told me to go where I was the most at home and I am completely in love with the girls I call sisters. Not every legacy house is right for every legacy. You need to be your own person and not just follow blindly in another's footsteps.
