Anyone that says that grades aren't important is just justifying her house's low grades. If you've ever applied for graduate school, honors and awards, fellowships, internships, medical school, law school, nursing school, etc., you have a better chance with better grades. That's not to say that someone with less than perfect grades has no chance, but grades are very important. You'll notice that the girls with the lowest grades are the first ones released during recruitment. The girls in the top houses get the girls with the best grades. It doesn't make their souls better, but it does make them more desirable to pnms.
