To whoever wrote the comment that girls in some houses are higher caliber and to all the ones who agreed with her: Shame on you! Rush does not give you the power to play God with girls lives. You have no right to judge a girl because of the clothes she wears or what neighborhood she grew up in. This is all so shallow and sad. Do you know the girl you said wasn't good enough worked through high school to pay for every penny of her college education? Do you know the girl you said didn't have a high enough GPA even though it was a 3.9 studied for hours taking honors classes in addition to working? Do you know the girl who you judged as not being high caliber enough has a disabled sister she cares for? volunteers hours at her church? But you saw right through her because maybe she lived in a scholarship hall and wasn't given everything to her by rich parents. You cut the girl who has a heart of gold for the superficial materialistic one just because she showed up to rush in a monogrammed shirt. What I'm trying to say is you put so much emphasis on one house or another and try to make girls ashamed or embarrassed that they didn't get into a "top" house. You say guys won't hang out with her because of her letters. You tell her she won't get invited to formals because of her letters. What's even sadder is the frats seem to encourage this. They only invite "top" houses to mixers, only hang out with certain girls. High caliber means so much more than what you all think and it's sad.
