OK this is a little weird BUT I get what she's saying. If you don't want to be stuck with someone who values you based on superficial qualities don't go with a claimed "top" house, because that's all they care about. If you want lifelong support and real friendship go for another house. Unless you are already friends with girls in a certain house or know all your fellow hs friends will also be in that house you will be excluded from forming those friendships.
