To all girls who were cut from some house as a pnm: It's not because of what your parents do. Also, it's not a rule, it's just a suggestion. If you're awkward to make conversation with, girls who are assigned to you might try to make you open up by talking about your family, thinking that at least you would know SOMETHING to say about them. It never gets around to that unless you're bragging about how amazing your family is or you're so awkward it's the only thing you'll talk about.
