I was in the same place as you! I am able to be in a sorority because I have a part time job and a really great scholarship that also paid for my housing when I was a “live-in”. Some sororities will sniff around if your parents have money or if you have second vacation homes though. There are SO MANY women in my chapter and in Panhellenic who are also working or help their parents with dues or who are on scholarships! Money should not be in issue at all if you’re in the right sorority. I’m middle class and I am so comfortable in my sorority.
