Middle House

Poster Message:
The problem with the “top houses” is that they are all from Kansas City and they all already know each other or have tons of mutual friends. Girls in middle tier houses are the girls that were not as popular in high school and from Kansas City or are from out of state. There is nothing wrong with either, but there will always be a divide between the top houses and middle tier because of it. Kappa and PiPhi will never give a middle tier girl the time of day. GPhi, ChiO and Theta all have some out of state girls which makes the divide with them and the middle tier a lot less. On the flip side, the middle tier is always going to be fed up with the top tier because they don’t give the middle tier the time of day. Honestly, it’s all almost as petty as high school. It’s all just a cycle that’s not going to break anytime soon. The same can be said for fraternities...when was the last time Sigma Chi, Beta or Phi Delt did anything with AXO, SK, or KD? When was the last time PiPhi, Kappa, or GPhi did anything with DChi, Delt, or Kappa Sig? It’s not one’s fault, unfortunately it’s just the way that our system is. This is also very generalized, don’t mean to put every single member of every single house into this statement, I’m just generalizing the way it is seen.
