I'm from out of state and I knew no girls in the houses! I had a really great rush and am in a house that I love. Don't let it discourage you. It only takes one great conversation to impact how a house thinks of you. Each girl has a say when it comes down to who they want, and I'm sure if you have good grades and are as nice as possible, rush will be easy for you. I noticed a ton of in-state girls with terrible reputations who got cut because they KNEW people, and being out of state is a huge advantage to that. Good luck :)
