It really does depend on the house. Bid day when all the high school friends scream and run to each other you're probably going to stand there and feel stupid. That's really the only difference between "top" and "bottom" houses, how hard they are to get in to based on who you know not who you are. I was an unknown and got a middle house and most of us didn't know each other going in, so we all made friends with each other really fast out of necessity. If you end up in a "top" house you will be an outsider from day one and all girls know how hard it is to break into a clique. A lot of girls never do, and they just remain outsiders for four years. That's why girls need to stop focusing on obsessing over a top house because you need to be careful what you wish for.
