Honestly it really depends on the sorority. Certain ones have a lot of girls from Kansas who all know each other, and other ones tend to have girls from all over, but every sorority has at least a few girls from out of state. It's super important to put yourself out there and talk to people; the first few weeks are awkward for everybody, and a lot of girls are in the same boat as you and just want to make friends. Don't stress too much; I'm from out of state and I ended up making a lot of friends in my sorority first semester! Just remember you get out of it what you put in, so make sure to get to know a lot of people and go to events!
