I am from out of state and I went through rush, it turned out just fine. Did I get invited back to top houses all week? No, I didn't, but that's okay. I do have friends who are from out of state that in in houses full of JoCo girls and they don't have a ton of friends because everyone already knew each other going into it. I can honestly tell you that being out of state will make it harder for you to rush a "top" house, but odds are you will find ahole somewhere in the middle tier and be happy. Go through the process, it all works out how it is supposed to.
