I'm considering VT but also want to participate in Greek life. Will my options be very limited during rush because I'm from OOS and don't have any in-state connections? I'm just thinking about schools like Alabama, where your hometown directly impacts the houses that want you. If I go into rush at Virginia Tech with no pre-existing connections, am I cooked? Also what are the house breakdowns like. In addition to geography, what others factors might come into play? Sports participation, majors, dorms, etc? I'm not a varsity athlete but will definitely try out for club sports, including a fall sport. Do teams tend to stick together?
