typically, the "top tier" sororities tend to be faker. that doesn't mean there aren't great girls in the chapter- but def could make it harder to find a bigger friend group rather than just a few good ones. on the end, a "lower tier" sorority will also have some fake members. all depends on the members perspective & what they deem fake. but def trust your gut when ranking- if you get that vibe when talking to the chapter women, there IS a reason so listen to ur intuition. overall, no sorority is going to be full of fake/mean girls entirely, just like no chapter is entirely super sweet/genuine
