ABSOLUTELY! I know in my sorority there are so many of my sisters who participate in all sorts of different activities. From club sports, to a cappella groups, to leadership organizations, and other non PHA greek organizations, there are so many different interests represented! It makes for a great mix of girls, but not in a bad way as we were all brought together because our personalities fit together. Just because you're involved in other things than a sorority doesn't mean you can't do anything else, however, it does make your schedule that much busier and hard to balance. That being said, being a part of a sorority can be extremely time consuming if you let it be. But it can also be not very time consuming. It really depends on how much you want to participate and be involved. Really though, your sorority may take up AT MOST like 5 hours a week if you just go to required events such as chapter meetings and maybe if you're participating in another organizations philanthropy.
