<strong>Subject:</strong><br />the deal with informal<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Y'all I've seen so much false information on this site (shocker ik) specifically about informal recruitment. Here's the deal about informal. Sororities participate in informal recruitment when their total membership does not meet Panhellenic standards. It's not just based off of quota from the last formal recruitment, it's based off all the pledge classes combined. This means that even a sorority who met quota could still participate in inform recruitment. So all of y'all who are saying blah blah blah is doing informal, you're just pulling stuff out of your ass in order to make sororities look like they did poorly during formal recruitment. For the last time- Informal is not based solely off of quota from formal recruitment. It's based off chapter totals. Panhellenic is collecting chapter totals over the next few days and then they will let chapters know if they need to do informal. As of right now, we have no clue who's doing informal officially. Sorry for the rant but I'm tired of seeing baseless assumptions.
