Sorority recruitment is what you make of it. Yes, the days are super long, and you will probably lose your voice repeating the same answers to the same questions at each house, and you will also spend time crammed with a ton of other girls in a frat house, but honestly you’ll most likely make good friends in your rho gamma group and in the holding house (we would sometimes bring cards and stuff to pass the time together) and even though you talk to so many girls at each house you begin to find more of who you vibe with and (I know this sounds cheesy and stereotypical) you’ll find your friends in the houses! To me, because I went through it and accepted a bid, I think it is 100% worth it, and it’s totally fine if you try it and decide it’s not worth it! If you don’t want to go through that week long process, you can always do informal! Just know that only certain houses do informal, and usually you have to know people in each house to be invited to the events, but they’re a lot more relaxed and laid back and some people prefer that. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll do great! :)
