Subject:
a note about "rankings" for new mems

Poster Message:
First off, rankings literally do not mean in thing. This arbitrary ordering does not determine how much fun sororities have, how close their sisterhood is, or how pretty the girls are. Think about what will matter to you in four years- your rank in somebody else's eyes or your friends and what they mean to you? Some houses do perform better during the recruitment. But contrary to what some people believe this website is not a gauge of that. I see a lot of ranking posts where it is blatantly obvious that they were written by new mems trying to improve the status of their new strats. What really shows how well a sorority did during recruitment is the retention rates. As each round of recruitment passes, the number of girls that come back to a house, how high that house ranked on the pnms lists, and the number of girls that drop a house determine the retention rate. That is honestly one of the only ways to understand how a house did during recruitment. So while new rankings with a couple of houses shifted around come out, do not get discouraged because they are completely biased and do not mean a thing. These rankings do not show what a sorority means to you and how great your times within that organization will be.
