honestly, gphi runs this site in terms of self-ranking and artificially boosting their own reputations, so I wouldn't take what you read here to heart. Both are in the top tier with strong reputations, I would recommend going through recruitment and feeling out which is a better fit for you. Gphi is definitely new to the top tier, where theta has been up there for a couple of years so take that as you will.
