It won't hurt to have friends pulling for you, but it's no guarantee. Every day of recruitment, you will be cut by chapters that you really, really like. And it will sting. So you have to make a promise to yourself that you will see the process through until you either get a bid or are released. Because that is the only way that you will know for sure. Keep in mind that you will only be meeting a small fraction of the girls in each chapter during recruitment. In every chapter, there are girls who could become your best friends. So don't get too worked up if you don't make a connection with some of the girls that you meet. Every chapter at CU is an organization that has national clout and respect. There are no minor players here. After you graduate you will be welcomed as an alumna wherever you settle. Your life as a Greek does not end at graduation. You can look forward to many years of fellowship.
