Yep I had multiple girls and a handful of houses say these similar things to me, including the house I ended up in. Panhellenic was very firm with us that bid promising wasn’t going to happen and they really reiterated multiple times and in multiple ways, in the intro meeting, rho gams and some of the paperwork/admin stuff. I feel bad for OP for not getting the bid she wanted, I didn’t either, but it was very obvious as a pnm that no house was going to bid promise. I’m sure she got her hopes up and really liked AXO and that’s why she took what they said and ran with it especially since her other house was tri delt. I got my #2 pref house too but I gave them a chance and still love it, it really is all about trust the process but they made if very clear to us what the rules were.
