All sororities prefer freshmen but your best chance as a sophomore for any sorority is having friends who are already in it. I personally rushed Theta as a sophomore and made some amazing friends who also all joined as Sophomores who I did not know prior. We all already knew a few girls in the house who joined freshman year. Also keep in mind Theta has a higher GPA cutoff and does place a lot of emphasis on grades/academic rigor, commitment to service, and sisterhood.
