<strong>Subject:</strong><br />2020-2021 Sorority Ranks<br /><br /> Poster Message:
This is a comprehensive rank of sororities for the end of the fall semester. It’s important to remember that ranks DO NOT determine value of a sorority, but simple reflect generally accepted social standing. Ranks definitely aren’t important to everyone, especially in Boulder, but are important to some people in Greek life. (All tiers in alphabetical order) TOP TIER AΦ/ΠBΦ These two houses remain top tier. Both did very well during rush, despite challenges with virtual rush. Pi Phi has been criticized for deteriorating pledge classes and experience given that they can’t party as much anymore. However, they’re still a top house and attract a lot of rich SoCal girls. APhi had PR issues over the summer, but still had a good rush and genuinely seem to have improved diversity and image with their new pledge class/fundraisers/and more. These two will remain the top two for the foreseeable future, and consistently attract the most attractive, cool, and rich girls. MIDDLE TIER ΓΦB/KAΘ/KKΓ If I had to choose a house of these three that had the best rush this semester, it would be Kappa. They seemed to attract a lot of “top” girls that usually tended to go to Theta instead of Kappa. Theta is generally regarded as above Kappa, but this pledge class kept it close. GPhi is kind of hit or miss, still above lower tier but not top middle. All three have really cool girls and draw a lot of PNMs that are looking for a genuine sisterhood experience. LOWER TIER AXΩ/ΔΔΔ/ΦM While these houses are considered lower tier at Boulder, I know most girls in these houses have a great experience within them. That being said, it seems like AChiO had the most successful rush. TriDelt has a great house, but can’t seem to get enough members each year. Phi Mu still has yet to get a house and is still new on campus, so it’s difficult to gauge their progress. All three of these houses are strong nationally (especially in the south) but struggle more at Boulder. Looking forward to see them grow!
